Al has been on the air on 101 WRIF in Detroit in one capacity or another since he was a 19-year-old intern in 2006. 
For ten years he was the weekday fulltime overnight host and held that position until joining the Dave & Chuck "The Freak" morning show. He sill holds down a regular weekend shift (Sundays 3P-6P), in addition to occasional fill-in shifts.
